Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to everything you build or run with WellWise MultimedAi kits and plans. You are responsible for how your own tools and accounts are used.
Updated October 18, 2026
1. Who is responsible
You are the caller and sender of any call or text your assistant makes, and you are responsible for following the law and your provider’s rules. WellWise provides plans and guidance only; it does not place calls, send messages or supply numbers. This policy also applies when WellWise helps you set up AI calling or texting during a live video meeting.
2. Allowed in version 1
Errands such as waiting on hold and transferring the call to you when a person picks up; answering inbound calls and messages; and informational or transactional reminders (for example appointment confirmations) to people who gave you permission. We currently help set up AI calling and text-message features only for use in the United States and Canada. Some tools may work in other countries, but we don't currently help set them up or support them there. If you use these features anywhere else, you do so at your own risk and are solely responsible for following the laws that apply there, including consent, call-recording, telemarketing and AI-disclosure rules.
3. Not allowed
Purchased, rented or scraped lists; cold calls or cold texts; marketing or promotional calls or texts without prior express written consent; voice cloning or impersonating a real person without permission; debt collection; emergency, clinical, patient or other safety-critical uses; financial-account transactions; deceptive or harassing messages; and any use that breaks the law or a provider’s terms.
You must not make marketing or sales calls or texts without prior express written consent. You are the legal caller and sender and are solely responsible for every call and message.
You may not use the AI Calling & Texting plan for telemarketing, sales, lead generation, debt collection, political or fundraising calls or texts, or to contact people who have not asked you to contact them. Use it only for your own errands and for calls and texts you would normally make or answer yourself.
4. Required safeguards
Disclose at the start that the caller is an AI assistant and name the business it represents; honor stop and opt-out requests promptly; keep Do-Not-Call and calling-hour rules; complete any carrier registration; and get recording consent from all parties where required.
5. Enforcement
If we learn that a plan is used in breach of this policy, we may stop providing help for that use. Report concerns to administrator@wellwiseai.com.
6. Canada: additional rules
CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation): a commercial text or other commercial electronic message needs the recipient's express or implied consent, must identify you as the sender with your contact information, and must include a working unsubscribe mechanism that you honor. Non-commercial errand and reminder messages are generally outside CASL, but they must still identify who is sending them.
National Do Not Call List (DNCL): telemarketing calls in Canada require registering with and subscribing to the National DNCL and not calling numbers on it unless the person gave you prior express consent. Each call must identify the caller and the person or business on whose behalf it is made.
Automatic dialing-announcing devices (ADAD): under the CRTC Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules, a prerecorded or AI-voice telemarketing call needs the called person's prior express consent for that specific number, and the message must identify the caller and give contact information. The rules also prohibit asking a consumer to hold until a telemarketer is available; this is different from the errand use, where your assistant waits on hold with a business for you.
In Canada, follow CASL for commercial texts and the CRTC Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules (National DNCL, ADAD consent). Sources: crtc.gc.ca/eng/com500/faq500.htm and crtc.gc.ca/eng/trules-reglest.htm.
